3-5-2014   Newshound Guru Kaperoni   We all know the CBI meets with the IMF...last year they had two such meetings or Article IV Consultations and after the second, stated that they would be on a annual basis here on out...it was scheduled for March 2014 which would have been nice to have another banking/currency report coming this month.   So i received an email yesterday from the IMF.  Here was my question and the response.   Is the Article IV consultation scheduled for March and when can we expect to see the report?  The answer came from the Director of the IMF - Iraq (located in Jordan), Shbaikat, Gazi is his name. "Will be this year, in second half after elections, and report a couple of months from date of consultations. We may have an update sooner." So it is pretty clear it will not be in March.   [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]
