He's desperate to hang onto power as he will face corruption charges otherwise. The Kurds are NOT bluffing : cessation is real!! Escalation of violence, parliament still trying to find it's footing as a legislative body, significant laws on standby. This is NOT the recipe of stability anyone wants. As I said at the start of June that this month will come & go WITHOUT fanfare relative to the dinar & currency reform and THAT is a realistic scenario. There's too much still to work thru.
